Bernalillo Co. under driving warning

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - All of Bernalillo County is under a difficult driving warning. From Albuquerque to Santa Fe and the metro area to Santa Rosa down through Vaughn, NM road conditions are expected to only get worse this evening.
There are difficult driving conditions on both interstates around Albuquerque and transportation officials are reporting difficult driving conditions across northern New Mexico and in western New Mexico.
The bitter cold that has settled into Albuquerque means the snow and ice is not going away any time soon and metro area’s wet road will become black ice quickly.
DOT crews are working around the clock plowing, salting and cindering roads in affected area.
