Fort Collins, CO - The 16th-ranked Lobos snapped the nation's 3rd longest home winning streak (27 wins) Saturday afternoon with a 91-82 win in Fort Collins against 22-ranked Colorado State. Kendall Williams broke a MWC 3-point record knocking down 10 three pointers in the win, on the way to a career-high 46 point performance. At one point in the 2nd half of play, Williams hit 3 straight giving the Lobos the lead for good against a tough CSU team. Despite the Rams shooting 70 times, the Lobos escaped Moby Arena with a 9-point win as well as a 2 game cushion in the Mountain West Conference Standings. New Mexico improves to 23-4 (MW: 10-2)this season with 4 games remaining on the schedule.
