Albuquerque (KRQE) - University of New Mexico junior guard Kendall Williams and sophomore guard and teammate Hugh Greenwood are two of 80 players on the Bob Cousy Collegiate Point Guard of the year Award watch list. Williams is averaging 14.3 points and 1.3 steals per game. He is also averaging 3.8 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game. Greenwood is averaging 8.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. He also has 11 blocks and 12 steals on the season. Both players put their skills on display in a 68 to 63 victory over New Mexico State Wednesday night. The victory gave the 16th ranked Lobos a sweep of the season series and their 12th victory without any losses. Williams tied a career high with 24 points in the victory while Greenwood scored 10 points. The Cousy award watch list will narrow down to a final five March 1.
