RUIDOSO, N.M. (KRQE) - There will soon be a new high-rise ride at Ski Apache the Apache Arrow gondola debuts on Friday.
According to Ski Apache's website there will be a grand opening ceremony at 11 a.m.
The gondola will be able to take eight passengers at a time climbing more than 1,500 feet up Sierra Blanca in eight minutes.
The improvements plus repairs to other facilities came after the massive Little Bear Fire grazed the ski resort in June.
