Albuquerque (KRQE) - The Texas Tech Red Raiders football program has apparently had enough of runningback Ronnie Daniels. Daniels has been dismissed from the team after violating team rules. The former La Cueva High star is considered to be one of the most prolific runningbacks to come out of the state of New Mexico. Daniels, now a sophmore at Texas Tech, only played in one game for the Red Raiders last season. He had 44 yards on 9 carries and a touchdown in a 59 to 13 victory over New Mexico. Shortly after that game Daniels was suspended for violating team rules but was reinstated in the spring. He played well during spring practice and even scored a touchdown in the Red Raiders spring game this past weekend.
