ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Young archers from all across the state took aim Saturday competing in New Mexico’s National Archery in the Schools program.
The tournament took place Saturday morning in the Manuel Lujan building at Expo New Mexico.
Officials were expecting more than 500 archers from more than 30 schools.
The kids in different divisions, shooting 15 arrows at 80-centimeter targets 10 meters away and 15 arrows at targets 15 meters away.
