ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The top two football teams from the state's AAAAA high schools are ready to face off in a championship game, and tickets will be a hot commodity.
The Las Cruces Bulldawgs and the Eldorado Golden Eagles will play for the title on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Albuquerque's Wilson Stadium.
Demand for tickets should be high. In Eldorado's semifinal match at Wilson, the stadium was packed. Las Cruces' semifinal game was seen by around 20,000 fans.
"We're kind of looking forward to the Wilson atmosphere of it being a packed, packed place," Eldorado Coach Charlie Dotson said. "I'm not saying that we wouldn't want to go to UNM stadium, but we're looking forward Wilson, and getting a lot of people out there."
Both schools and the New Mexico Athletics Association will make tickets available early. The NMAA will sell early tickets online at nmact.org starting Tuesday.
