NMAA State Baseball Brackets released

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) -
The NMAA released the State Baseball brackets earlier today. In class 5-A the Volcano Vista is deemed the one seed, while La Cueva is the 2 seed. The Bears are last year's champions in 5-A. Rio Grande is the 3 seed, the Cleveland Storm is the 4 seed. The 5th seed goes to Hobbs.
In 4-A, Albuquerque Academy is the 1-seed and will play 16-seed Bernalillo in the opening round. Last year's champions, Piedra Vista is the 2-seed and will face 15-seed Moriarty. The 3-seed goes to the Farmington Scorpions. St.Pius is the 4-seed, while Artesia rounds off the top 5 seeds in the 5th spot.
In 3-A, Sandia Prep is the 1-seed while Silver is the 2-seed. Hope Christian gets the 3-seed, Cobre is the 4-seed and Raton is the 5th seed.
In 2-A, Eunice is 1-seed, 2-seed Estancia, 3-seed Tucumcari, 4-seed East Mountain, 5-seed is Tularosa
Class A: 1-Capitan, 2-Floyd, 3-Gallup Catholic, 4-McCurdy, 5-Valley Christian.
