CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) - A judge in Santa Fe has ruled that the Clovis school district can remove J.D. Isler as varsity boys basketball coach at Clovis High School.
The judge ruled Tuesday that the temporary restraining order allowing Isler to remain in his poition has expired.
The Clovis Municipal School District had removed Isler as coach for recruiting a player.
Isler is expected to ask for the restraining order to be reinstated at another court date, set for Feb. 16.
