APS gets new turf at stadiums

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Albuquerque Public School students have new turf to play on Thursday morning.
It's called "next-turf" and is the stuff colleges and the professionals use.
The two fields that got the new turf are off Wilson and Milne.
They are the two primary football facilities.
Combined they cost about $600,000.
The district says they should pay for themselves considering they will be saving on water and maintenance.
