Orbit wins the top mascot in minor league baseball

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - After nearly a month of campaigning and fan voting, Orbit is the top mascot in minor league baseball.
The Albuquerque Isotopes' large and lovable orange alien defeated Ike the spike of State College in Pennsylvania, securing nearly 60 percent of the vote in the finals.
The competition started in May with 64 mascots from across the country.
Orbit says he plans to thank every single topes fan who voted by giving them a big hug.
