T-birds fall to Vipers in morning game

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - It was not good news for the Albuquerque Thunderbirds as nearly 3,000 kids watched them fall to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. But good news came anyway: Carlos Powell was selected for the D-League All-Star game and Chad Toppert continues to look for a 10-day NBA contract.
