ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Temporary Isotope Manny Ramirez spoke to reporters for a few moments in the clubhouse before Wednesday night's game.
Ramirez is in Albuquerque for at least three games to rehab, after serving a large portion of his 50 game suspension.
In his first Tuesday, the slugger struck out swinging. He would add a ground out to short a few innings later.
Even though Manny agreed to talk, he still played coy with a reporter who asked if he was getting ready for baseball.
"What do you think, I haven't played in three months," Ramirez said.
The Pacific Coast League leader in wins will get the ball or the Isotopes on Wednesday. Sporting a record of 8-4, Charlie Haeger continues to stifle opponents with his knuckleball.
"As of late I've been throwing the ball a little bit better," Haeger said. "I just kind of got on a roll as of late."
