LA Times: Ramirez may come to 'Topes

LOS ANGELES (KRQE) - Manny Ramirez will temporarily be an Isotope, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.

The newspaper, citing anonymous sources, reports that Ramirez will play with the Albuquerque Isotopes in a four-game series against the Nashville Sounds starting Tuesday.

Ramirez is nearing the end of a 50-game suspension for violating a drug policy. He can resume playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers on July 3, but can play up to 10 games in the Dodgers' minor-league affiliates at the end of the suspension, the Times reports.
