District basketball in the metro

Albuquerque (KRQE) - The Albuquerque High Bulldogs put a tighter grip on district five 5A thursday night at Highland High School. The Bulldogs dropped the Hornets 50 to 47. That combined with West Mesa's 54 to 52 loss at Rio Grande has put the bulldogs up two games with only three to play in the district. In girls action Eldorado outlasted rival La Cueva 35 to 31.
