MIAMI (KRQE) – Florida Marlins outfielder and former Carlsbad standout Cody Ross won his arbitration case over the Marlins.
Ross had his most productive season last year and will make double the salary.
A three-person panel awarded him $4.45 million. The Marlins had offered Ross $4.2 million.
Ross played in 151 games last season, batting .270 with 24 home runs and 90 RBI.
