Altamont loses again, won't advance

WACO, Texas (KRQE) - The dream of a Little League World Series appearance is over for All-Stars from Altamont Little League.

The team fell 6-3 to Colorado on Saturday night.

Down by a run in the bottom of the fifth, Altamont rallied to plate the game-tying run. The game, however, was put out of reach in the sixth inning when Colorado exploded for three runs.

While Altamont cannot advance to the regional semifinals, they still have one more game to play. They will take on Oklahoma at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
