PRETORIA, South Africa (AP) — Police say they found testosterone and needles in the home of Oscar Pistorius (pihs-TOHR'-ee-uhs) after his girlfriend was killed. The South African Olympic sprinter has been charged with premeditated murder and this is day two of his bond hearing. Pistorius' lawyer says what police found was an herbal remedy and not a banned substance.

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Top-ranked Indiana sits alone atop the Big Ten conference standings after last night's 72-68 road victory over No. 4 Michigan State. The Hoosiers had lost 17 in a row in East Lansing.

CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Blackhawks beat the Vancouver Canucks 4-3 in a shootout, giving them 16 straight games with at least one point. That matches the NHL record to start a season. Chicago is a league-best 13-0-3.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — Miami finally received its notice of allegations from the NCAA, which accuses the school of having a "lack of institutional control" for not monitoring the conduct of a booster who provided thousands of dollars in cash, gifts and other items to football and men's basketball players. Ironically, it happened a day after the NCAA revealed that it was erasing some elements of its case against Miami because the information was obtained in impermissible ways.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — The defending champion is through to the quarterfinals of the Dubai Championships. Agnieszka Radwanska (ahg-nee-ESH'-kuh rahd-VAHN'-skuh) advanced with a 7-5, 6-3 victory over an 18-year-old challenger from Kazakhstan.
