PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) — Vander Blue scored 22 points last night as No. 15 Marquette beat Rutgers 60-54. Junior Cadougan and Jamil Wilson both added 10 points for the Golden Eagles, who improved to 13-4 in the Big East. Myles Mack led Rutgers with 11 points.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Alec Brown scored 18 points last night as Green Bay defeated Milwaukee 62-46 to advance to the second round of the Horizon League tournament. Keifer Sykes added 16 points for the Phoenix, who went on a 12-2 run to begin the second half. Paris Gulley led the Panthers with 14 points.

PHOENIX (AP) — Michael Saunders homered yesterday to help Canada beat the Milwaukee Brewers 7-4 in a prep game ahead of the World Baseball Classic. Tyson Gillies and Cale Iorg added RBI singles for Canada in the eighth inning. Rickie Weeks and Carlos Gomez both drove in runs for the Brewers.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay Packers have declined to use their franchise tag on receiver Greg Jennings. The move allows Jennings to negotiate with any team, starting March 12th. Jennings ranks in the top 10 on the all-time Packers reception list.
