ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - The Nevada Wolfpack is the latest team to hand the Lobos football team a loss. The Lobos trailed 31-24 late in the 4th quarter after Dallas Bollema's intercepion of Casey Fajardo putting UNM in striking distance of tying up the game at 31. However, a bad exchange between QB Cole Gautsche and RB Crusoe Gongbay dooms the Lobos chances as Nevada recovered the fumble ending a shot for the Lobos at snapping a 4-game losing skid. Nevada escapes University Stadium with a 31-24 win despite a 145 yard effort by RB Kasey Carrier. True freshman QB Cole Gautsche rushed for 72 yards, and 2 touchdowns in the loss. The Lobos close out the season in Fort Collins, CO against Colorado State next saturday.
