NCAA on KRQE News 13 TV Schedule

ALBUQUERQUE - Due to the NCAA Basketball Tournament on CBS, adjustments in programming on KRQE News 13 are listed here. We will update these schedules as assignments are provided by CBS.

While KRQE is assigned certain games, CBS may choose to switch over to another game at any time

KRQE will carry both Final Four games on Saturday afternoon. The CBS Evening News and KRQE News 13 at 5:30 will not be seen.

KRQE will carry a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon, as well as the Division II championship at 11 a.m. The CBS Evening News and KRQE News 13 at 5:30 will not be seen.

KRQE will carry a doubleheader on Friday night. The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric, KRQE News 13 at 5:30, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! will not be seen.

News 13 at 10 p.m. will air immediately following the conclusion of CBS' coverage.

KRQE will carry a doubleheader on Thursday night. The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric, KRQE News 13 at 5:30, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! will not be seen.

News 13 at 10 p.m. will air immediately following the conclusion of CBS' coverage.

On Sunday, there will be a tripleheader of basketball tournament action. A special hour long edition of News 13 will air at 5:00 p.m. The show will be reduced if basketball runs past 5:00 p.m.

60 Minutes will air in its entirety on Sunday and is planned for 6:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. If basketball runs past 6:00 p.m., 60 Minutes will begin immediately following the game.

News 13 at 10 p.m. will air as usual.

NCAA Sunday games to be shown on KRQE include:

Window 1: Syracuse vs. Arizona State, 10:10am
Window 2: Cleveland State vs. Arizona, 12:40pm
Window 3: Missouri vs. Marquette, 2:50pm

News 13 at 5:30 will not air because of NCAA tournament action, but News 13 at 10 will air in its entirety after late basketball.

Window 2: Texas A&M vs. UCONN, 1:35pm
Window 3: Michigan vs. Oklahoma, 3:50pm
Window 4: Texas vs. Duke, 6:15pm
 

Friday, March 20th

There will be no noon newscast, however, there will be a special 10 minute newscast at 10:00 a.m. There will be no 5:30 p.m. newscast.

A full 35-minute edition of News 13 at 10 will air immediately following the last game of the evening, followed by the "Late Show" and the "Late Late Show."

The Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions will be seen at approximately 12:35 a.m. Saturday, but it may start later if basketball coverage runs long.

NCAA coverage on Channel 13 begins at 10:15 a.m. for approximately 4 hours and 45 minutes and begins again at 5:00 p.m. for approximately 5 hours.

  • Window 3: Arizona vs. Utah
