ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A lobo football player is suspended indefinitely.
UNM says Ryan Trujillo, who red-shirted last year which means he can practice but can not play for now, violated team rules.
Coach Bob Davie wouldn't get into details about what rules he violated.
Trujillo is a former Manzano High School standout.
We do know he was arrested in January for allegedly pepper-spraying his girlfriend at an Albuquerque Weck's restaurant.
He has not played a game this season.
