Security steps up for Lobo game
UNM sPatrols will be stepped up at Saturday's game

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The Lobos will be taking on 24th-ranked Boise State 4:06 p.m. Saturday and with the Lobos coming off a recent win attendance and security is expected to increase.
Following an incident at last week’s game in Las Cruces combined with this weekend’s attendance Lobo Fans should expect to see an increase in security.
A week ago in a game against rival New Mexico State Aggies, fan Patsy Bejerano was sitting in the stands and was hit with a bullet that police say came from the parking lot. She was taken to the hospital and is ok.
News 13 spoke with some students at UNM on Thursday and most said they are concerned about security, but they say that won't keep them from cheering on the Lobos on Saturday.
Police patrol the games in Albuquerque, but after the shooting in Las Cruces, they have decided to stick around for the whole game as opposed to leaving early.
As of noon on Thursday UNM Ticket Office said they had already sold about 21,000 tickets out of the 40,000 capacity stadium. They expect those numbers to rise right up to game time.
