Albuquerque (KRQE) - When he was donning cherry and silver Wyoming head coach Larry Shyatt didn't think he would actually coach a game at the Pit as the opponent's head coach. That is exactly what will happen Saturday when his Wyoming Cowboys come to the Albuquerque to try and slow a University of New Mexico Lobos team that is on a four game win streak and is beating opponents by an average of over 20 points per game. Shyatt was an assistant at New Mexico from 1982 to 1988 under then head coach Gary Colson. Shyatt made lifetime friends in Albuquerque and only has plenty of good memories of his time in New Mexico.
