ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The Pit is expected to be sellout packed Saturday morning when the Lobos take on nationally ranked UNLV on national TV.

It's a game for first place in the Mountain West Conference.

There's an excited mood on campus for this high-stakes game, and it's been sold out since Monday.

The Lobos have been on fire having won six straight nonconference games.

The last team they lost to was University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and revenge is on the minds of Lobo fans.

UNLV is currently ranked 11th in the country in both The Associated Press Top 25 Poll and the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. UNM received votes in both polls but not enough to make either list.

The game is being broadcast nationally, and fans and administrators alike are excited to get the attention.

"One of the top teams in the nation coming in," Frank Microglia of the UNM Athletics Department said. "A team that I know our basketball team wants to show that the first time we played them was a little bit of a fluke.

"We're not an 80 to 63 team that gets beat very often."

Even though the game is sold out, there are tickets out there--for a price.

For example, six tickets on the website stubhub are being offered for $80 a pop.

But you get the feeling finding any ticket could be a big challenge.
