ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Isaiah Rusher doesn't have to wonder anymore if he will compete for the Cherry and Silver next season because he has been cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse, according to the Red Menace.

Rusher is already enrolled at the University of New Mexico.

NCAA approval was the only thing keeping the 6-foot-10 Lobo off of the court.

Rusher committed to UNM nearly two years ago, but academic issues kept him away from The Pit.

He's known as an enforcer and was considered one of the top players in the country during his high school career.
