Pit construction continues

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The $60 million renovation of The Pit is well underway, and the construction is quite visible.
The project is recycling almost all of the materials, and is almost finished with the demolition phase.
The renovated Pit will have 60,000 feet of new space and double the number of concession stands and bathrooms.
The iconic stadium will also have a ton of state of the art improvements.
"So now as we see construction happening, and actually see the size and scope of the project, I think people would be pretty impressed," Senior Associate Athletic Director Tim Cass said.
