RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) - The Lobo Country Tour made its third stop of the summer Monday afternoon in Rio Rancho, and all of the top Lobos were in attendance.

Vice President of Athletics Paul Krebs, Head Basketball Coach Steve Alford and Head Football Coach Mike Locksley all attended the event.

The event was emceed by former Lobo Football star Dontrell Moore.

The coaches said it's important to get out into the community and talk to supporters of the Cherry and Silver.

"Seems like it's giving us a great opportunity to go out throughout this state and sell the Lobo nation," Locksley said.

"It just gives the Lobos a chance to get out of The Pit, out of the Administration Offices, out of Albuquerque, and get a chance to go to different communities throughout the state and to be able to say thank you," Alford said.
