LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KRQE) - The Lobo men wrapped up their 29-5 season with a tournament win over University of Nevada Las Vegas Saturday to claim the Mountain West Conference basketball crown.
The final score in the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas was 63-56 adding the tournament victory to the first-place finish in the regular season.
The game stayed close until with the Lobos leading by 1 when Tony Snell went on a 13-point run in the second half.
Up next is the NCAA selection on Sunday which will determine where and against whom the Lobos will launch their campaign for the national title.
