Lobos baseball has great expectations

Albuquerque (KRQE) - They took on one of the toughest schedules in the nation last season. Ray Birmingham and his University of New Mexico baseball team had their share of defeats but turned it into victories down the stretch, winning the Mountain West Tournament title along the way. Most of that team returns with a few more pieces to make the Lobos lethal at the plate and on the hill in 2012. The season starts for the Lobos February 17th when they host Nevada for a three game series at Isotopes Park.
