Lobo Women Fall At TCU, Now 0-6 In MWC

Caroline Durbin leads team with 20 points

FORT WORTH, TX (KRQE) - Despite leading by 6 points with 4:32 left to play in the first half, the Lobos fell behind to TCU 33-29 at half-time en route to a 63-56 loss to the Horned Frogs in Fort Worth. Caroline Durbin once again leads the Lobos in scoring, with a 20 point effort. New Mexico shot well in the game, connecting on %46.7 of their field-goals however TCU had the ball 5 more times on offense and shot %50 from the field. New Mexico was outscored in the paint 38-18, but did damage to the horned frogs off turnovers outscoring TCU 26-18. The lead would change 3 times in this game, but it's TCU handing UNM their 6th loss in MWC play. New Mexico is now 6-14 (MWC 0-6) on the season.

 

Leading Lobos:

Caroline Durbin: 20 points: 8-11 fg-fga, 4 assists in 35 minutes

Porche Torrance: 10 points, 9 rebounds, 5 turnovers
