Lobo Baseball begins season Friday

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - The Lobos baseball team begins the quest for a 3rd straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament on Friday at Isotopes Park in a 3-game set with the Nevada Wolfpack. New Mexico is coming off a 20-41 season, but made the NCAA Tourney after winning the MWC Tournament.  The Lobos return 17 letterwinners, and are picked to finish third in the MWC behind TCU who is the favorite while the UNLV Rebels are picked to finish second. Game time for the Lobos against the Wolfpack is set for 3:00pm on friday, 1:00pm on Saturday & Sunday.
