SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRQE) - Darington Hobson is expected to play for No. 8 New Mexico in Saturday's NCAA second round-game against Washington.
Hobson fell to the floor hard in the first half of the Lobos 62-57 win over Montana Thursday night. While favoring his left wrist, Hobson continued to play.
According to University of New Mexico sports information director Greg Remington, an x-ray on the injured wrist was negative, and Hobson is just sore.
Hobson leads the Lobos in scoring, rebounding and assists this season.
