Fans pack local bars for Lobo game

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The long wait to see the New Mexico Lobos in the Big Dance ended Thursday night to delight of many fans.

Lobo fans packed bars and restaurants around the city.

As many people as the fire department would allow squeezed into Coaches Sports Bar to cheer on the Cherry and Silver.

Fans told News 13 it's a thrill to see the team in March Madness.

If you plan to come out to a bar on Saturday, remember space is limited and most bars in the city have strict limits on drinks per person.
