Lobo Carrier named MW player of week

The Lobo football player with the perfect last name for his running-back position is the Mountain West offensive player of the week.

Kasey Carrier earned the award by running like a mad man over the Air Force Falcons defense. Carrier rushed for a UNM and Mountain West record of 338 yards in a 28 to 23 loss at Air Force over the weekend; it is also the only 300 yard rushing game for any player in FBS this year.

The Lobos host Fresno State Saturday at 1:30pm.
