NMSU promote Martin, UNM get WR coach

Albuquerque (KRQE) - KRQE Sports has learned that New Mexico State plans to promote interim coach Doug Martin to permanent. A source close to Aggies athletics told KRQE that a contract will be hammered out over the weekend and an announcement could come as early as Monday if not sooner. Meanwhile at the University of New Mexico, the Lobos have filled their receivers coaching position with Scott Baumgartner. Baumgartner spent last season at Nevada.
