ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - The Lobos football team picks up their third win of the season, defeating former Lobos Head Coach Dennis Franchione's Texas State Bobcats 35-14 on homecoming night. The Lobos were led by a solid rushing attack that chewed up 361 yards on the ground, in part to Junior RB Kasey Carrier. Carrier led the Lobos, with 23 carries- 191 yards, scoring 4 of the 5 Lobos touchdowns. Freshman RB Jhurell Pressley tallied 78 yards and a TD score in the win. The win marks the first time since 2008 New Mexico has had 3 or more wins in a season. The Lobos won 3 games the past 3 seasons combined.
