Lobos shut out by Texas 45-0

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - The Lobos lose their first game of the season to 17th ranked Texas 45-0. The Longhorns jumped out to a 7-0 lead thanks to a 49-yard TD run by Texas QB David Ash. For the Lobos, they lost starting QB B.R. Holbrook in the first half thanks to a rib injury. Holbrook did not return for the remainder of the game. The lobos tallied only 35 yards passing, but 241 yards on the ground. Up next for the Lobos is a date with Texas Tech in Lubbock on September 15.
