Lobos Shut out by Air Force 1-0

USAF Academy, Colorado - Despite a solid effort by Lobos starting pitcher Gera Sanchez, the Lobos are shut out by Air Force 1-0. Sanchez pitches 7.1 innings of work striking out 13 batters, however the Lobos only manage 4 hits in the loss. New Mexico misses out on a shot to get back to the .500 mark in the win-loss column as well as UNM drops to 14-16 (MWC 7-2) on the season. Up next for the Lobos is a two-game set beginning this Monday with ASU.
