Albuquerque (KRQE) - Steve Alford and his 19th ranked University of New Mexico Lobos defeated Boise State 79 to 74 in overtime Wednesday to remain the only undefeated team in Mountain West play. Four Lobos scored in double figures.Junior guard Tony Snell scored 22 points on 7 of 12 shooting. He was 3 of 5 from three point range. Sophomore Guard Hugh Greenwood flu like symptoms during the game but, it never bothered his shooting. Greenwood scored 15 points and had a game high 7 rebounds. Five of those points came in the overtime period. Greenwood was also 3 of 6 from three point range. Junior guard Kendall Williams scored 11 points while sophomore center Alex kirk dropped in 11 points. The win improved the Lobos to three wins against no losses and upped their overall record to 16 and 2. Boise State suffered their first home and conference loss of the season. It's the fourth time the Lobos have given an opponent their first home loss this season. The Lobos are at Colorado State next Wednesday.
