Lobos new turf "Branch Field"

Albuquerque (KRQE) - When it is all done, the new playing surface at University Football Stadium where bear the name Branch Field. Margaret and Turner Branch claimed naming rights after making a donation of 1.5 million dollars to Lobo Athletics. It's the second largest gift ever at UNM by living individuals.“We are thrilled to honor Margaret and Turner Branch with the naming rights to our football field,” said UNM Vice Presidentfor Athletics Paul Krebs. “I can’t think of a better couple to have their name indelibly associated with Lobo Football
than the Branches." The Albuquerque attorneys will be honored at halftime of the Lobos first game fo the season September 3rd against Southern.The naming rights are subject to the approval of the full UNM Board of Regents.
