Lobos fall short of series sweep @ SDSU

SAN DIEGO, CA (KRQE) - The Lobos fall short of a series sweep at SDSU falling to the Aztecs 4-3. The Lobos couldn't sustain a 3-1 lead, while SDSU walks off with a win in the bottom of the 9th with two outs. The loss puts the Lobos in a two-way tie with TCU for first place in the MWC standings with a 9-3 record midway through conference season. Up next for the Lobos is a mid-week two game series with the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Lubbock on Tuesday & Wednesday.
