ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - It was 2 for the price of 1 as the Lobos win the MWC regular season title with a 53-42 win over Wyoming, as well as send seniors Chad Adams and Jamal Fenton out as the most winningest Lobos with 105 wins. It wasn't pretty but the double-dose of Cameron Bairstow and Alex Kirk down low did the trick as New Mexico's big men combined for 28 points in the win. The Lobos also locked up the overall no.1 seed for the MWC Tournament and will play the winner of the 8-9 match up on March 14th.
