Albuquerque, N.M. (KRQE) - Without star Guard Kendall Williams playing, the 25)Lobos take care of the Fresno State Bulldogs with ease 72-45. Alex Kirk and Cameron Bairstow combine for 35 points, and 19 rebounds while Tony Snell was the third lobo in double-digit scoring with a 16-point effort. New Mexico out-rebounded the dawgs 43-25, 17 of the boards being on the offensive side of the ball. Jamal Fenton came off the bench chipping in with 9 points, while a banged up Chad Adams had 2 points in 14 minutes of play. As far as for Williams, the Junior did not play due to violating team rules; Williams was late for a 10am team meeting yesterday.
