Albuquerque (KRQE) - A pig with lipstick may have been more of a pretty picture. The University of New Mexico women's basketball team beat Weber State 67 to 44 Tuesday in what had coach Yvonne Sanchez called an ugly win. The Lobos managed to keep the Wildcats among the ranks of the winless despite 25 turnovers. Lobos Guard Caroline Durbin lead the cherry and silver in scoring with 15 points. Forward Deeva Vaughn added 14 points for the victors. The win improved the Lobos record to 6 and 1 as they get ready to go on the road for a date at Houston Friday.
