Kasey Carrier honored by MWC

Albuquerque (KRQE) - University of New Mexico runningback, Kasey Carrier, is the Mountain West co player of the week. He shares the award with San Diego State quarterback Ryan Katz. Carrier had 191 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns in the Lobos 35 to 14 victory over Texas State last Saturday. The 191 yards is the most for a UNM runningback since Rodney Ferguson rushed for 210 yards against San Diego State in 2006. The Lobos are 3-3 on the season and have equaled their win total from the previous three seasons. The Lobos are at Hawaii Saturday.
