DENVER, CO (KRQE) - The Colorado Rockies have designated former La Cueva & Lobos baseball star Jordan Pacheco for assignment to Colorado Springs. Rockies Manager Jim Tracy says that he wants Pacheco to work on his defense at 2B, 3B, and catcher everyday instead of every three days. Pacheco will be in triple-a for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.
