SALT LAKE CITY, UT (KRQE) - As the NCAA Tournament kicks off the second round of play, the Lobos will have to watch the rest of the tournament from their couches.
Inconsistency on offense has been the Lobos Achilles heal all season long, and it cost them a chance to survive and advance in March madness.
New Mexico shot under 40% for the game, while Harvard shot over 50%. Alex Kirk and Cameron Bairstow were the only bright spots on a dismal offensive performance as the Lobos fall to the Crimson 68-62.
How about the MW being a power house conference? So far the conference is 1-3 in the tournament as SDSU awaits to play on Friday.
