Holm wins Bellator debut

Albuquerque (KRQE) - World champion boxer Holly Holm has her third victory in mixed martial arts. Holm won her Bellator debut by defeating Katie Merrill at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho Thursday night. Holm controlled the fight from start until it's early finish in round two. Merrill took a combination from Holm that put her on the floor. Holm improved to 3 and 0 while Merrill dropped to 1 and 1.
