Garro named AHS Football Coach

Albuquerque (KRQE) - Tim Garro is the new head football coach at Albuquerque High School. Garro has been a head coach at Capital High in Santa Fe and Estancia, where he led the Bears to a State Championship appearance. He also spent time as a coach at Crownpoint. Garro, who has been out of the game for two years, was a teacher at Los Lunas High School the last two seasons. He replaces Michael Zufall, inheriting a program that was winless the last two seasons.
